Garth Brooks will be on hand for George Jones' final concert. Brooks is among the latest stars to sign on for the upcoming event as the lineup continues to grow. The Oak Ridge Boys and Shelby Lynne are also confirmed for the special show, along with Kid Rock and Sam Moore.
The concert is still more than eight months away, but the guest list already boasts more than a dozen stars. Randy Travis, Dierks Bentley, and Josh Turner are also slated for the show, along with Kenny Rogers, Montgomery Gentry, and Tanya Tucker.
Jones says it's truly heartwarming to know he'll be joined by so many incredible singers for his farewell performance. He adds that the lineup is becoming more than he expected or could have ever imagined.
Jones will also share the stage with Charlie Daniels, Lorrie Morgan, and Gene Watson for his last performance, and more artists are expected to be added to the list.
The 81-year-old Country Music Hall of Famer is wrapping up his performing career this year with "The Grand Tour," which he launched earlier this month.
