Showers will increase across west Alabama this morning. A band of thunderstorms will move into the northwest counties around 12 noon. The storms will track southeast and reach the I-20 corridor by 3 pm. A few storms could be severe, with damaging winds. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. The severe threat will be mainly for areas west of I-65. Highs will range from the upper 60s to middle 70s.
