Trix Bringing Back Artificial Colors and Flavors

Back in 2015, General Mills announced they were phasing out artificial colors and flavors from their cereals. And none of their brands was hit harder than Trix, which lost that signature artificial taste . . . plus some of its bright colors, like green and blue.

People weren't particularly happy with it, and I'm assuming Trix sales fell enough for General Mills to pay attention. Because yesterday, they announced they were bringing BACK "Classic Trix" with artificial colors and flavors.

But since they clearly can't admit they screwed up, they say they're going to keep selling the version with natural ingredients too for, quote, "consumers [who] have differing food preferences." (Consumerist)
