LITTLE BIG TOWN recorded an a cappella version of "Rocket Man" for the ELTON JOHN tribute album, "Restoration". But you'll hear more than just voices. It also has actual sounds from NASA's Juno spacecraft when it explored Jupiter.
KAREN FAIRCHILD explains, quote, "One of the main reasons why we chose 'Rocket Man' was because we were so intrigued by [using] the sounds from the Juno project so we had all these Jupiter noises."
They brought in a NASA big shot named Dr. Scott Bolton who helped work the Juno data into the music.
