I'm pretty sure everyone out there thinks their mom deserves a celebration. But do we all HAVE to celebrate by giving our moms flowers, a gift card, and a dinner out this Sunday?
According to a new survey, 53% of people think Mother's Day is a Hallmark Holiday. . . in other words, we make such a big deal out of it because it's been so commercialized.
The survey also found the majority of people think Father's Day, Valentine's Day,and Halloween have been taken over by commercial interests.
So what holidays would we celebrate even if businesses weren't PRESSURING us to? Birthdays, Christmas, and wedding anniversaries are the big three.
