Job Fair Thursday 6/7

Tuscaloosa, Ala.- The Alabama Career Center System is partnering with the Association of the U.S. Army, West/Central Alabama Chapter , the Tuscaloosa Parks and Recreation Authority (PARA) and the Tuscaloosa News to host a Job Fair on Thursday, June 7, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 2 p.m., at McDonald Hughes Community Center, 3101 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. 

The job fair is open to all candidates and experience levels — from recent college graduates to experienced professionals, veterans, older workers, and individuals with disabilities,. 

Participating companies represent financial services, technology, logistics, retail, hospitality and a range of other industries. More than 60 companies will be looking to fill more than 2400 positions including drivers, mechanics, finance, law enforcement, education, customer service, administrative assistant, security, and much more. 

The participating companies are DCH Health System, Buffalo Rock, North American On Site LLC, Pepco Food Inc., Phifer Inc., UPS, Aloha Baumhowers Restaurants, Brassfield Gorrie, AIDT, University of Alabama, and many more. 

Have plenty of resumes handy. You may even have two resumes that focus on your abilities in different fields. 

To avoid waiting on line we strongly recommend you pre-register at LABOR.ALABAMA.GOV/JOBFAIR prior to the event. Please, bring your bar code.
