Another Ohio State Scandal

In 2011, Ohio State Buckeyes football coach JIM TRESSEL resigned after it was discovered that he knew about some NCAA benefits violations, and lied about it.

And now, the Buckeyes might lose another coach to scandal.

Yesterday, URBAN MEYER was put on paid administrative leave, while the university investigates a report claiming that he knew an assistant coach was allegedly abusing his wife Courtney, and didn't do anything about it.

Zach Smith was the team's wide receivers coach until he was fired last month, when his now ex-wife finally got a restraining order against him.

Meyer admits to knowing about an incident in 2009, but not anything since. However, some text messages between the coaches' wives indicate that he did know about an alleged incident in 2015.

Cleveland.com says there were NINE domestic violence-related police reports involving Zach and Courtney between 2012 and 2018. They divorced in 2016.

Offensive Coordinator Ryan Day will be the acting head coach while Meyer is out.
