Ed Sheeran is dipping his toes in country waters again.
The global superstar has written the latest release from Keith Urban! The country Aussie dropped the lyric video for the Sheeran-penned “Parallel Line” last week as the newest taste of his forthcoming new album Graffiti U.
“Take a little bit of my heart tonight/No, I literally don't mind/Just please don't misplace it/Take a little bit of my heart tonight/Baby, me mine now/Baby, be mine now/Maybe it’s time we put our hearts in a parallel line,” Keith sings in the track’s chorus.
“Parallel Line” isn’t the first country cut for Ed.
The British songwriter previously co-wrote Taylor Swift’s “Everything Has Changed” from her 2012 country release Red. He also co-penned the title track of and current single from Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s joint album, The Rest of Our Life.
Keith first previewed “Parallel Line” at a surprise pop-up show in Nashville where he announced both Graffiti U, the album, and his upcoming 2018 Graffiti U World Tour.
Look for the album to drop sometime in 2018 and the tour to launch June 15 in St. Louis.
