Rascal Flatts Concert Ends Abruptly Due to ‘Security Concern’

Rascal Flatts concert ends abruptly due to ‘security concern.’ Rascal Flatts had just finished their song “Banjo,” before they were hurried from the stage at the Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center in Indianapolis on Thursday night due to a security risk.

The 24,000-seat venue was evacuated quickly due to a security concern that has yet to be identified. Live Nation’s spokesperson told local media outlets "Venue staff and local officials followed standard protocols to ensure the safety of guests, the artist and staff."

Concert safely has been a focus since the Vegas massacre. Last month, an Avett Brothers show was shut down early due to a man entering the venue with a gun. Thankfully, no one was injured.

Security is first priority, however, some Flatts fans took to social media to voice their concerns and disappointments. The band replied in a statement on Twitter:

You can catch Rascal Flatts, Dan + Shay, and Carly Pearce in Chicago at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater.

The tour will continue to the following cities:

Chicago, Ill.

Toronto, Ont.

Cleveland, Ohio

Clarkston, Mich.

Dallas, Texas

Phoenix, Ariz.

San Diego, Calif.

Irvine, Calif.

Sacramento, Calif.
