I See You: Students Raise $14K For Substitute Teacher's Medical Bills

Wow! These students. We're totally 'I See You' over these students from a Minneapolis school.

Eighty-year-old Walter Erickson has been a substitute teacher in the north metro school district since 1991 and a retired teacher. The reason for his continued substitute teaching at such an older age was due to saving money for his wife to get cataract surgery and dental work.

A few students wanted to do what they could to help after the impact he made on their lives. They started a GoFundMe page and donations, mostly small amounts from students, came pouring in. Their initial goal was $500.

But after word got out to the community and more people the GoFundMe reached $13,905, just under $14K.

Watch the students tell their teacher the good news below.
