More than a year after Troy Gentry's death in a helicopter crash, it's been determined that maintenance issues and pilot error caused the accident.
According to a report by the National Transportation Safety Board, the pilot cut the engine too soon as he was making an emergency landing, crashing into the woods instead of returning to the runway.
Troy was taking a pleasure flight before Montgomery Gentry played a show in Medford, New Jersey in September of last year.
