BARRY MANILOW is officially out of the closet. (!!!) If you're like most of us, you've been under the assumption that Barry was BORN out of the closet. But it turns out he's discussing it for the first time in the new "People" magazine.
He says, quote, "I thought I would be disappointing [my fans] if they knew I was gay. So I never did anything."
When they found out that Garry and I were together, they were so happy. The reaction was so beautiful . . . strangers commenting, 'Great for you!' I'm just so grateful for it."
