Police investigators believe that the owner of Highway 55 Burgers, Shakes and Fries had intentionally set fire to the restaurant on Tuesday evening..
Derrick Duane Maddox was charged with second-degree arson on Wednesday morning.
Firefighters responded to the restaurant around 9 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Some of the surrounding businesses had smoke damage, and were open Wednesday morning.
