Daily, 20 percent of Alabamians struggle with hunger. Pails & Ales is a giveaway and band night event at Loosa Brews on Oct. 18 from 6-9 p.m. benefiting Secret Meals For Hungry Children℠. Secret Meals strives to fight childhood food insecurity in the Tuscaloosa community by providing food packs for children in need. It costs $140 to feed one child for an entire school year. All money raised goes directly towards creating these food packs.
Venmo $10 to @pailsandales to purchase a ticket. Tickets can also be purchased at the door on the night of the event. The purchase of a ticket guarantees three tickets to enter the giveaway, however, additional tickets can be purchased for $1 each. Over 20 Tuscaloosa companies have donated items for the giveaway.
