The City of Tuscaloosa will host the third annual ‘tech-or-treat’ night on Tuesday, Oct. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa Gateway Innovation and Discovery Center, located at 2614 University Blvd East.
Tech-or-Treat is a free community event where children go table to table collecting candy and prizes from City departments and community organizations. Each table will offer fun activities and tech-themed prizes to visitors in costumes. The prizes range from cell phone accessories to digital storage devices. “
Discovery through fun and play is at the very heart of the Gateway’s mission,” said Mayor Walt Maddox. “Tech-or-Treat does just that - it introduces children to technology so they can get a head start with science and innovation.”
The event is free and open to all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
