Girl is the new album from Maren Morris. It's long-awaited release is this Friday -- which happens to be International Women's Day.
Maren says picking that day for the release was a happy accident.
"We need to pick a Friday where this album could come out with the timing all lined up. We chose March 8th and someone told my manager and I that's International Women's Day. And I was like, are you serious? That's fate."
Maren will perform on the NBC's Today show on Friday.
