Carrie Underwood Learned When It's Okay to Let God to Take Control

This week's"People"has a list of "100 Reasons to Love America" . . . and they put CARRIE UNDERWOODat #1. Not going to argue with that. But the interview isn't all roses. She talked about her struggles the past couple of years.

There was the fall that broke her wrist and left her with a on her face. She also opened up about the three that took her to a dark place. But it's those moments that helped her realize she's never truly alone, thanks to her faith.

Quote, "I've always wanted to be a good daughter to my parents but also to God and not complain, because we are beyond blessed. [But] the miscarriages made me get real with God and say, 'Okay, I'm kind of giving up a little bit.

"'If this isn't meant to happen, then I need to accept that and know that someday I'll understand why.'" Right after that is when she and her husband Mike Fisher learned she was pregnant with Jacob, who was born back in January. Their son Isaiah is four.

You may have noticed the theme here is that she put it in God's hands, just like her song,"Jesus, Take the Wheel". She noticed it too. Quote, "The best moments in my life are when I say, 'Hey, I can't control everything, and that's okay. God is in control.'"
