Amy’s proud of how her kids are growing up!
Her son is getting baptized on Sunday and it’s making her emotional with how far he’s come. Her daughter also got a new job as a hostess for the school year! Over the summer, she worked at her first real job and made a lot of sacrifices for it like not being able to go to Colorado with her brother and dad for two weeks because she had to stay back and work. Now she has a job that she can work doing the school year at night and weekends as a hostess. When she applied online it showed they were only hiring servers, which she had no experience in, but she showed up to the interview anyway and they told her they’d start her as a hostess. Amy told her the story about how when Abby first applied for a job on The Bobby Bones Show, she didn’t get it but still sent a thank you note. So, she wrote the restaurant manager a thank you card for taking the time to interview with her which made Amy proud because it showed she was listening to her. Her daughter starts the job tonight and Amy plans on going to show her support!
